Welcome to Artistkar! Artistkar is a brand of Cockatwo Private Limited. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Artistkar mobile application available on iOS and Android. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on Artistkar, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Artistkar application.

2. Platform Description

Artistkar is a mobile platform that connects users with talented artists and service professionals including beauticians, wellness experts, musicians, performers, and other skilled creators. The app enables users to discover artists through video portfolios, book services via a conversational offer system, track service delivery in real-time, and manage payments — all within a single application.

3. User Accounts

Users must sign in via Google Sign-In through Firebase Auth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete profile information and to update it as necessary.

4. Booking & Service Terms

• All bookings are made through the in-app conversational Offer Editor, which allows users to select services, choose dates, time slots, location, and propose an offer price.
• Artists may accept, negotiate, or decline booking offers at their discretion.
• Once a booking is confirmed, both the user and artist are expected to honor the agreed terms.
• Artistkar acts as a facilitator and is not directly responsible for the quality of services provided by independent artists.

5. Payments & Wallet

All payments are processed securely through the PhonePe payment gateway. Artists can track earnings, view transaction histories, and manage fund withdrawals through the in-app wallet. Platform fees may apply to transactions and will be transparently communicated before confirmation.

6. Content & Intellectual Property

Artists retain ownership of their original content (videos, images, portfolio materials) uploaded to Artistkar. By uploading content, you grant Cockatwo Private Limited a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the Artistkar platform. You must not:

• Upload content that infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights
• Download, reproduce, or redistribute other artists' portfolio content without permission
• Use the platform to share misleading, fraudulent, or harmful content

7. User Conduct

Users and artists on Artistkar are expected to maintain professional and respectful interactions. Harassment, discrimination, fraudulent activity, or any form of abuse will result in account suspension or permanent ban. Reviews and ratings must be honest and based on actual service experiences.

8. Limitation of Liability

Artistkar serves as a marketplace connecting users with independent service professionals. Cockatwo Private Limited is not liable for any disputes, damages, injuries, or losses arising from services provided by artists. Users engage artists at their own discretion and risk.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
